Hello SL!

I've been away for a bit... quite a bit it seems. I was on a long and much needed hiatus but life is doing it's circular thing so it appears I'm back.

To start with I'm moving my store and have decided to do a big sale.

I'll be retiring a number of items to make way for new things. These will go for 10- 50L and will be No Transfer. The sale starts August 15 and ends Labour day. I'll be deleting these from my inventory once the sale is over. All Sales Final.

I'm also setting up a permanent 1L area. You'll find my ribbons there!

While I'm at it I'm finally switching over some older but still well selling items to Modify/ Copy / No Transfer.

Last but not least I'm reducing prices on most of my remaining creations. I'll keep this up with lower price points for any future releases as well. The Market Place won't reflect the new prices till the end of the month so you'll have to come in store for the bargains!

RFL 2009 Clothing Fair

The RFL holds a more special place in my heart this year. One of my dearest real life friends is currently in a battle with the beast known as cancer. I urge you all to take advantage of some of the unique and beautiful items made by a number of designers this year. These are my humble offerings.

The Dark Eros dress is a version I did in chocolate. I really like rich browns and wanted this color for myself so I thought I'd share my favorite with you for RFL. It includes a top, shrug, top and shrug together on a jacket layer, shorts, gloves, sculpt cuffs and two different flexi skirts.
Modify (the prim parts include a deletable script for ease of resizing), copy and no transfer it sells for 250L and all proceeds to the RFL.

Keeping in the earthy brown and pirate theme I offer Asian Pirate Earth. Based a little from Wako and Kaizoku pirates it also includes my love of fur and my own wild imagination. It consists of a three piece flexible dark mink fur shrug, a jacket glitch layer, laced up top, shorts, pants and a flexi skirt.
Modify (with a script as well), copy and no transfer it sells for 300L and all proceeds go to RFL.

I've also released Asian Pirate in a black (night) version and it will still be available after the RFL campaign has ended as a regular item in my store.

These can currently only be found at my booth Ookami Ningen in the Persian Gulf sim (3) of the clothing fair. Later moving to my main store Ookami Ningen.

I've finally finished the Dark Eros full fingered gloves sets. These like the fingerless come in 6 colors aubergine (purple), ebony (black), incarnadine (red), jade (green), tourmaline (teal) and twilight (royal blue). They include a long and short pair with matching sculpts cuffs in each set.

Happy Valentine! New Dark Eros Sets!

Elegant dresses with rich detail and colors.
The dress sets include top, pants, shrug, top and shrug on jacket layer, gloves, sculpt cuffs, 2 prim skirts. They come in 6 colors. The skirts have a resize script for ease of altering but are still modify, copy and no transfer. 250L per set.

The gloves sets include two pairs of fingerless gloves in two different lengths as well as matching sculpt cuffs. They also come in 6 colors and are modify , copy and no transfer. 50L per set.

Whimsical Leg Warmers

Furred and regular winter cloaks and capes just in time for Christmas! A perfect way to complete almost any winter outfit. There are two items per set. One with and one without fur trim on the hood.

Frou Frou to You!

Wow it's been awhile thanks to a dead computer and a half failed back up.
A couple of releases I was working on before my lil disaster.

First up is Frou Frou. A lil gothy, a lil lolli and a lot sexy. Lots of satin , tulle and of course crosses!
The set includes a top on jacket layer, lil shorts with lace, a sculpt neckline, 2 sculpt sleeves, a tulle and satin prim skirt and a pair of satin and lace sculpt bracers with a glove glitch layer. It comes in black or wine and is modify, copy and no transfer. 250 L each.

I liked the bracers a lot so decided to make them in leather as a separate release. They come in 5 colors black, blue, purple , red and teal and also include matching glitch layers.
A green set (not pictured) was sent out as a group gift.

Dark Soul Bracers and Rose Belts

I love accessories and not only make them but I buy a fair amount as well. I had wanted a belt I could wear over simpler dresses and found a few nice ones but not what I had pictured in my head so I decided to make one.
I've only posted pictures four of them here but there are two metal bases, dark and gold. Each has five leather colors to chose from, black, blue, purple, red and teal that also has a complimentary dark gem.
The green sets were sent out as a group gift.
The belts are modify, copy and no transfer and are 75 L each.

I've also made a set of studded bracers as my partner had requested ones like these a few times. There is a large and a small pair included. They are modify, copy and no transfer and are 100L for both sets.

It's a Fashion Filled Fundraiser!

Phoenix Psaltery and his SL/RL wife Sansarya Caligari are both long-time, well known residents in SL. He owns part of one of the oldest SL newspapers, The Metaverse Messenger, and Sans blogs about her passionate love for SL fashion.

Just a few days ago, Phoenix went into complete renal failure and has ended up in intensive care at a hospital away from his home town, with a shunt for dialysis. Unfortunately, there are other complications as well, including pneumonia. Finances have gotten dire for them as Sans has to stay at a hotel while he's in ICU, not to mention other expenses that are incurred and with children left at home in the care of relatives.

So their SL friends have joined together to help them! We are putting on an all day auction and live DJ event. Many people have donated items such as transferable Dazzle dresses, and merchants such as myself have made limited editions for sale at this auction only.

Now that things have settled down a bit I figured it was a good time for the Grand Opening party! Plus it's a milestone birthday for me RL so I thought I'd combine it all into one big party.
Saturday July 5th.
Starting at 3:00 PM SLT DJ Vivianne Draper will kick it all off by playing some awesome tunes. From 4:00- 600 PM SLT DJ Lucipher Bahomet will bring his own unique style to us and do his Satanic Verses show here at Ookami. To close festivities, DJ Mourna Biziou will take us from 6:00- 8:00 PM SLT with her eclectic and dancable mix.
I'm going to put out a special edition of the Apache Dancer set out as a freebie just before the music starts and if you happen to find me dancing I might have another gift for you!

'ON Fashion Show Releases

Thanks to all that attended. The show was a great success! I have to thank Nex Core for all the hard work and their wonderful sets. It really added to the atmosphere!
Now on to the releases. There are 8 new ones, an updated older one and a joint release. Both Zulus and the Dancing Swan were also in the show but have been previously blogged here.

First up we have a joint release from Ookami Ningen and A2NZ that kicked off the show.
Based on the main character of around the world in 80 days. Dark tan well detailed pants and vest with a white suspendered shirt. Overcoat of a lighter tan consisting of clothing and flexi prim with brown leather accents and brown leather sculpt and cloth based gloves and a jaunty sculpt tophat.

Second up we have the Apache Dancer set. Based on the a style of French dance circa 1930. A very suggestive dance. This link gives a pretty good history of it.
Bold black and white strip top with detached matching sleeves. Black belted hip hugger mini skirt and glitch shorts, knotted black neckerchief.

Moving on to Italy we have Carmella Coat Dresses.

At almost the other end of the world we arrive in Japan.
Based from the Bride dress. Same plunge top as bride but without the chest chain and with closed full skirt, full black gloves, sculpt collar, sculpt glove tops. Could serve just as a nice evening gown. Only in black.

I did a traditional finale for the show which is a wedding dress but with a bit of a twist.
Harajuku Bride was inspired by something I saw in a video awhile back but have been unable to find it again. It impressed me enough that I hope my memory and interpretation do it justice.
A gothic Harajuku style dress . Only in black. Flamboyant headdress, open or sheer front full skirt and large lily bouquet. Sculpt collar with handless gloves.
I've included a scripted and a non scripted version of the flowers. They however are No Modify Copy and No Transfer.
The rest of the dress is Modify Copy and No Transfer 400L

It's a Fashion Show!

There will be 8 new releases debuting from ON as well as a joint release from ON and A2NZ. Rain has quite a number of new releases as well.
The theme is "Around the World in 80 Days" so expect some worldly fashions!
I'll also have a little "Goody Bag" containing a special edition of one of the new releases.

Fuzzy Legwarmers

Things have been pretty busy and I'll have a lot of news and new releases soon.
In the meantime I had been asked to sell the Harajuku punk fur leg warmers separately. I don't like breaking up sets that way so instead I made some as stand alones.
They are still made with my same hand textured fur but this time I topped them with leather and metal fasteners. Each set has a pair of leg warmers with gold hardware or silver hardware.

Zulu Warrior and Maiden

The men's part of this release was a special request by a friend. Traditionally there are no female warriors but I really wanted the women's counterpart. The pieces are historically accurate with a few of my own touches such as the female headdress. How could I resist a request when it was based on fur!
Each set consists of a fur thong on underwear and pants layer, a prim loincloth, furred leggings with a sock base, fur arm bands, shield, a posed Nguni fighting stick, non scripted Nguni fighting stick, headdress appropriate to gender, and with the female set I've added an asymmetrical leopardskin top with optional fur trim.
As an added bonus Beebo Brink of Brazen Women Shapes and Skins has allowed me to include for free two skins for each gender. Both have the choice of a bald skin for wear with any hair and a skin that has a close cropped afro. All based on eloh's skins.

A Group Member Gift

Astral Harem Sets

I really love my friends in SL as they constantly make me challenge myself.
There had been some discussion about old sci-fi pulp magazines and the sort of spacey harem outfits they wore on the covers. Next thing you know my friends were egging me on. This is the result.

Swirly solid and sheer satin paired with heavier gold accents on multiple pieces gives you many style options.
Each color set consists of bikini tops on both underwear and shirt layers, bikini thongs on underwear and pants layers, harem pants with a pair of sculpted legs, an asymmetrical top to be worn with a sheer and satin prim asymmetrical sleeve, a two drape prim skirt, a three drape prim skirt, leather and gold bracer which balances well with the lone sleeve and topped off with a matching gemmed torc.

There are 6 colors to choose from aubergine (purple), incarnadine (red), jade (green), midnight (black), tourmaline (teal) and twilight (blue). All are modify, copy and no transfer. I'll have these up on SLEX and OnRez within a few days as well for gifting.

Harajuku Punk Furs

If you know anything about Harajuku fashion it's that they love to use vibrant colors. Two of the other mainstays are leg warmers and fur. The fur can be anything from wild two tones to small touches of good fake fur. Here's my take on some of the punk furs.
I've done two series. The first being some of the wild colors you'd see there. The second a more toned down natural look.
The vibrants come in pink, blue, teal and purple. The naturals are in a white, black and mink.
Each set includes a soft flexible fur prim jacket that comes in 5 parts, the anti-glitch jacket that comes on two different layers, a cute plaid belted mini, anti-glitch skirt shorts and finally a pair of soft fuzzy leg warmers with an anti-glitch pair of socks.
The leg warmers are a great way to dress up a pair of chunky shoes or the foot part of most boots to make them look like fur topped boots.

Stupid Cupid Bow and Arrow Set Freebie

While posting the other Valentine's freebie it reminded me of a partially worked on project I had tucked away. It was something I was making to go with an outfit but never completed. I pulled it out and decided to finish it just in time for tomorrow.
It has a prim bow and arrow with a built in pose and a quiver with arrows. There are two sets of the quiver included with different attachment points (chest or spine) in case you wear it with wings. Permissions are copy only.

It kind of started off as a joke among some friends. "One" released a product and the other's would ask "Does it come in black?" In most cases for me it does. This time I decided to just go with the vision in my head. Wrong! When I was asked this time they were serious.
So here they are! The swan dresses in black.

Dancing Swan and Dying Swan

Two versions of a dress and one of them with a bit of a twist. Both are based from a famous ballet but Dying Swan also has it's roots in a painting I once saw. I found it beautiful in a macabre sort of way.
Shiny white satin corset, soft feathery fur and satin skirt and a hint of lace on the pants. Graceful arm wings and furred and feathered stole help give it a fantasy look. Each set is modify, copy and no transfer.

Ascendant Gowns

This is something I started just before Christmas but RL intervened.
Something a little more gothic yet elegant enough to wear to any formal occasion. I also created a red version for those with Valentine's in mind.
A corset style bodice on rich satin each set comes with a top on jacket layer, skirt pants, a non scripted skirt prim, a smart skirt, a pair of furred bracers and a furred neck choker.

New Japanese Geta for Men and Ladies

I've had a few requests for the geta (Japanese wooden sandals) that I use in my kimonos and yukata so here they are. I've released geta before but these are updated with a more rounded sculpt base instead of the tradition square block look.
Both the mens and the ladies come in wood or black base with either rope or velvet tops.
Each set also contains two pairs of tabi socks in black and white.

Hinode and Hakumei Kimonos

This is a new series of kimonos I've done a little different. Instead of varying colors I've created two color bases and four different hand painted floral designs.
Hinode means sunrise while hakumei means twilight. Both hinode which is a cream base and hakumai which is a deep blue black are adorned with chyrsanthemums, tulips, plum blossoms, or bamboo fronds and flowers. They also look stunning without the obi.
Each set contains a pair of geta with shoe base, top, skirt, a pair of tabi socks, glitch pants, a pair of sode (sleeves), two obis set to different attachment points, and a coordinating kanzashi (hair stick).
All are modify, copy and no transfer. Find them at Ookami Ningen for 250L per set.

Christmas at Ookami Ningen

A little snow and a whole lot of decorations and it's Christmas!
During the month of December I'll be putting a few freebies out here and there. Some may be wrapped as presents and some free standing. I'm not sure if I'll post when I do them but it might be more fun to just explore once in awhile. Some will have a Christmas theme and some won't. I do hope you enjoy what you find though.

We've dressed the sim in it's holiday finest (more on that later) and now here are some things to help dress you the same!
Six Christmas releases!
First we have White Christmas. This dress set comes in green and red and of course has accents of my fur. Inspired by the movie of the same name this set should make you look as glamorous as a movie star.
Each set contains shirt, glitch pants, skirt, fur hat, fur muff, capelet and a three layer fur and satin skirt. It's modify, copy and no transfer and can be found for 350L each at Ookami Ningen.

Next are four cloaks. Two for ladies (green not pictured) and two for men all in the czar/czarina series. A great way to look warm and stylish while dressing up your favorite outfit for the season. All modify, copy and no transfer and are 200 L each.

Ice Dancer

Etain and I always wanted to do a collaboration and now we have!
Ice Dancer is the first from Dark Eden and Ookami Ningen. Her fabulous looking boots topped with fur form the basis to a great pair of skates that are animated.
Add a soft chenille knit set in matching colors and some fur and you have an awesome combination!

Hello and Welcome!

As this is my first real attempt at blogging you'll have to forgive me while I make mistakes and learn my way around the blogosphere. I had initially put this off as a friend has been kind enough to post my items for me.
Basically I'll be trying to post new releases for my store Ookami Ningen and announce the odd event or sales I may have. I may even attempt the odd bit of humor (Oh quit groaning).
For now I'll just say "Hi" and thank you for taking the time to come and have a peek.
